Singh Marine Management Limited (SMML) is a specialized Marine Human Resources company operating in Ukraine and serving world wide client base. SMML specializes in recruiting merchant navy officers to work on all types of merchant ship world wide. It also has capacity to send ratings when required.
SMML was established as a marine recruitment company and licensed by Government of Ukraine to send crew to work on merchant and other ships. As of today SMML works with about 20 clients regarded as top notch ship owners and ship managers.
SMML client are based is in all major shipping centers such as Kuala Lumpur, London, Hamburg, Oslo, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai, Dubai, Glasgow, and Toronto.
SMML has experienced crew for all types of vessels from highly specialized Gas Carriers to general Bulk Carries. It also serves needs of crewing to vessels types such as offshore vessels and Yachts.

The average on board pool of seamen from SMML today stands at 600 highly specialized officers with extensive experience on merchant ships. About 800 seamen are on leave and are in regular touch with SMML.
SMML strives to have the best retention rate. The pool is equally divided among deck and engine officers. However, the percentage of senior officers (Master, CE, CO, 2/E and EO) is about 50 per cent more than the junior officers’ pool.
SMML’s Ukrainian seamen database stands at additional 3000 staff. These seamen have either been interviewed by SMML at some time or have worked with SMML at an earlier occasion and have been found suitably qualified. We have a data base of another over 750 seamen who have been very well reported when they were placed on board through us on more than 2 consecutive contracts.
These seamen have left us due to high wage differential and their credentials to get higher wages from other companies. Some of them have left us due to lack of specialized vessels such as Ethylene carriers. In case of suitable interest from owners and good opportunity for them we are confident to get them back due to our continued good relationship.
